Eunice and Min have been together since their freshman year of college. They both attended the University of Illinois Chicago.

One day while Eunice was in the library, she was introduced to Min. They immediately took a liking to each other and became fast friends.

As time passed, Eunice and Min spent more and more time together and grew to secretly like one another. It didn't take long for Eunice to grow impatient, and profess her feelings to Min.

They immediately began dating and the rest is history.

The couple navigated a long distance relationship for half a year. Although Min was only two hours away, it was hard to see each other due to their hectic schedules.

As time went on, their relationship grew stronger and they became more serious. Eunice was the first girl Min ever brought home to meet his parents. It was a huge step in their relationship.

Luckily both families supported the budding romance and became close. Eunice and Min would spend weeks at a time at each other's homes, until Min decided to move in with Eunice and her family.

Throughout the past 7 years, Eunice and Min have grown up together and have become the people we know today.

In July of 2023, Eunice and Min took a trip to the Philippines with her family. Eunice hadn't been home for almost 21 years. She was so excited to see everyone and introduce Min to her grandmother.

Min secretly planned on proposing to Eunice with the help of her sister.

While visiting Eunice's hometown where she grew up, Min asked for her parent's permission and blessing. They supported him and were finally in on the plan!

At the end of their tip, they stayed at a private resort in El Nido, Palawan. The Cauayan Island Resort was the perfect place to propose.

Min gathered her family and convinced Eunice to walk on the beach. As the sun set, he got down on one knee and told Eunice "there's one more thing I have to do before we leave."

Eunice was so shocked she burst into tears. Of course she said "YES!"
